How to use hd 7970 as main gpu, with gtx 550 for physx?

Hello, i have bought a hd 7970 recently and had my 550 lying around and wanted to use for physx. i have seen other sites and all of them showed that the 550 couldn't be used as physx
please can you provide instruction how to do as well please

Do people still actually run a dedicated card for physics? I have a 7870 and a gt 250 lying around and I'm using a 4770k, would it be worth it to setup physx? I tried setting it up with my 6970/8600gt.. It didn't detect physx.
