The 350D Build that became the 650D Build.

Hi peoples, Im building a PC for a friend and just thought I would share the build. He wanted something smaller than my 800D case and must have some Green LED lighting that was the first on his must have list! lol Parts should arrive today or monday. What do you think? It cost 1520 AUD delivered after I done a bit of wheeling and dealing. My friend isnt a serious gamer but wanted something that will last a while and be snappy. Only thing that worries me is the sniper motherboard.

CASE- Corsair 350D
CPU- 3770k
RAM- 16gb ares
MB- G1 Sniper M3
PSU- Corsair AX750
GPU- Sapphire HD 7970 OC Ghz
Cooling- Corsair h100i
LG Bluray Drive

Update 18-7-2013

I was waiting near 8 days and still nothing had arrived so I decided to call them and see what was happening with the order. They were waiting on my Corsair 350D case and Corsair H100i and they had no expect ETA on it. They didn't think to contact me and make me aware of this when on there website it said everything was in stock. Anyways I said I wanted to change the order and the easiest way was to refund me through Paypal and re order again with Paypal. However I took my money elsewhere. lol but I couldn't find the Sniper M3 MB or 350D case anywhere from a shop that accepted Paypal. So I decided to upgrade the case to the 650D and give my spare ASUS Maximus V Extreme MB to my friend for the price of the sniper m3 $179. My mate is happy now because he gets wifi and blutooth but its definitely overkill for him.

The Final build

$212 CASE - Corsair 650D
$385 CPU - i7 3.5ghz 3770K (Overclocked to 4.7ghz)
$179 MOTHERBOARD - ASUS Maximus V Extreme

Going off topic here, but I have the exact same speakers and I notice a really annoying buzzing sound when nothing is playing through the speakers but have them turned on. Have you/your friend noticed this? I had a set of Creative 5.1's before and they were completely silent but unfortunately the subwoofer died... These Lotigech's are decent but the buzzing really gets on my nerves, wondering if there is anything I can do to fix it.

If you have a quiet house I can see hoe it would be annoying. I just turn them off when not in use.

Guess I'll continue doing that then... Nice screen mod by the way. I was thinking of doing the same thing (but putting the screens wide instead) as I can't seem to find any thin bezel screens.
