Pretty much so, mod between doing other things on my to do list which never seems to get any shorter.
I had been meaning to fix that asinine extra space every since I bought the scale but it had never caused me an issue until now so I kept procrastinating. I never understood what the
point of having it there was. Did the designer/engineer not realize that the end user may need to take a measurement that it would cause a problem such as an inside dimension.
One of the first thing I did was to shape my mesh for the top handle and I had left it be since I was not sure how I was going to attach the mesh to the handle. I considered adhesive
but was leery because I don't know exactly what the handle is made out of and didn't want an adverse reaction with the handle. Well I came up with a solution that I think will work well
it will be quite tedious though. I am going to use some tiny screws to join the mesh and handle, tiny may be an understatement miniscule is more accurate.
.060" x 3/16" screw, 3/64" drill bit, .035 allen key and fan plug for reference.
