Hey guys!

Have any of you tried using the cpu strap @ 125 ? and if you have wich settings have you used ?

Just ran Asus AI and and used strap 125. it clocked my cpu up to 7 ghz.. i was scared tongue.gif couldnt boot into windows after but it might be a bug, most likely.

That's kind of pointless unless overclocking the memory, afaik.

If you are increasing the BCLK to the next strap point, you are going to have to reduce the multiplier correspondingly, but it shouldn't have been at 7 GHz obviously, so probably that part was a bug. But there doesn't seem to be any advantage to running the higher BCLKs at this point.

It's very likely Windows 8 task manager bug , my guess.

Anyone knows how much performance varies with BCLK overclocking vs Multiplier OCing? i mean if i5 4670k could be tied in performance with i7 3770 at 5ghz/4.5ghz ,at least a review?

You mean is performance different between 44x100 or 35x125 for example? I don't think there's any difference worth mentioning.
