Fan Controller shows sporadic RPM

Hello,
Just got my Lamptron FC5v3 installed. I have 3 fans in the front connect via a Y splitter. It seems the RPM aren't reporting correctly. Is this because I have three fans connected through a 3 pin Y splitter? Is there something I can do to fix this?

All fans seem to be running correctly (when I turn down the voltage, they slow down.) I am using 3x SP120 fans.
Thanks!

Please delete. Fixed by pulling out the RPM sensor on two out of the three connectors on the Y splitter.

Sometimes the rpm readout will go crazy if your fan splitter has more than one rpm signal lead running from fans to controller. If that is your problem just remove the rpm leads from all but one fan.
You want it like the first picture (yellow lead from only one fan), not like the second picture (yellow leads from both fans).
