You can order it today for $399, but I think I'm gonna go with the ASUS VG248QE and save some cash.

It's pretty much the same model as the XL2420T with the TE they added the flicker free backlight feature and the refresh rate has been bumped up from 120hz to 144hz with a 1 ms response time and it comes with all the features with the previous models in the XL2420T and the XL2411T, to me it seems like they combined the XL2420T and the XL2411T as the new TE, other than that not much really excites me about wanting to buy the TE and pay any where from $380 to $399. The ASUS VG248QE doesn't have as many features and the colors seem to be pretty damn close to the XL2420T after some tweaking and for the price $260 and performance I just think the Asus is a better buy but everyone has their own opinions.

If you can't wait for a review of the XL2420TE, there's a good List of 120Hz and 144Hz monitors -- including the Lightboostables, IPS overclockcables (QNIX, Overlrd, Catleap 2B).

Anyone know of any 29" 2560x1080 120hz monitors?
