760 boost low limit with watercooling

I have a normal evga 760 4 gb. However my gpus and cpu are watercooled. My gpu never passes 40 C. Under normal clocks it max's out at 1124MHz and when I try to over clock the highest I have seen is 1241 MHz.

I know on review websites

http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/57453-evga-geforce-gtx-760-superclocked-acx/?page=11

that is can pass that on air. Normal limit is 1300MHz but that one goes 1359MHz.That is also without voltage increase.

I was hoping for about 1400~1450MHz on water at these low temps.

I am giving it max volt, temp and power.

Any one else with 7xx series and water cooling?

from the review you linked:

Is EVGA saving the best GPUs for its Superclocked ACX line? It's possible, as we continue to see a healthy amount of overclocking headroom on the company's top-end cards.

you bought a 04G-P4-2766-KR and a 02G-P4-2765-KR is in the review; the superclock model with better cooling. EVGA would be likely to bin those chips so there would be better clock speeds. in other words i think you are looking for premium performance from a reference card.

its not the cooling but the chip; as always your mileage may vary.

I know the one I was comparing to was a binned chip. However it has no voltage added to it. With me adding the max voltage and max power with water cooling so its at half the temp I should be at least closer unless I have the worst chip possible.
