You guys are free to use Windows 7 until 2020. Is that enough to get you to stop complaining?

You're free to use 7 forever, it just won't see new updates past that.

And No, there is Nothing bad about WIn8, except the Metro interface. But the way this Metro is shoved down our throats deserves every negative review out there. See, it's not Win8 that's bad. It's Microsoft's attitude! Like that fact that there won't be Dx11.2 or 12 for Win7. That's plain dumb and makes me wanna hate them so bad.

Win8 is faster, more secure and better organized than Win7 beneath the UI. But that doesn't compensate for the idiotic way in which we are forced to use it.

Imagine a car. A beautiful, well-built, fast, economical, easy to sustain, maneuverable, comfortable, spacious and cheap car. Perfect, except it doesn't have a steering wheel, but 23 levers and valves that you have to pull in certain order, to a certain extend, in order to drive it. Would that be a "good" car? Would that be a car that you would enjoy? Hell to the No!

And yes, I'm using Win8 since the first beta, so I'm entitled to an opinion.

I was a windows 8 hater until i actually used it.

Yep, I like Windows 8 a lot having used it. I don't mind the new interface and when you have a whole bunch of PCs to put together for customers you appreciate the added speed and excellent driver support that Win 8 comes with.

You're quite right, my own thoughts on Window Tiles are wholly unprintable.

Well as a matter of fact last year I wasted about half an hour of my life with Tiles 8.0 (a shame I know, but couldn't really believe what I was hearing and had to endure it by myself).

Naturally I haven't and will never touch Tiles 8.1 with a ten-foot pole.

Sure, the unprecedented awesome success of Tiles is going to obliterate all critics, you'll see.

.

So you're basing your beliefs of an OS with a half hour of use, without learning how it actually works. Well there you go...

Correct. In fact I had a veredict after five minutes or so, but then wasted another 25' in delusional denial: "This can't be true, no way, gotta be kidding me" etc.
