Currently it's around 2.5GHz, Xeons are locked so bus overclocking is all redface.gif

Nice! Is this a development build? If you don't mind me inquiring, what multicore applications are you using, and how has the real world usage of lower clock speed and more cores run against fewer cores with much higher clock speeds (e.g. a hecore cpu running at 4.0GHz or greater) ?

I'll have an analysis in one of my updates comparing just that (not very rigorously though). I use rendering software and occasional folding so yes, this a development build thumb.gif

So stay tuned till I've got Windows installed.

At this point I made a very hard fail that took quite some time at a further stage to fix. I'll leave it up to you guys to spot where I went wrong

You used 1155 mounting hardware for the blocks... you don't like to follow instructions eh? lachen.gif

Nice yeah, that's the one that took me a lot of time to fix. The others weren't as problematic but still dumb.

Let's see if you can find those rolleyes.gif

Won't you have to cable the build again when you get your sleeved cables?

Only other thing I could spot was the 'clocking' of the blocks. They were rotated 90* upon loop being filled (I presume to have the jet plate align with the chip die)

I noticed you were also using Ubuntu that's a pretty bad mistake. How much do I get on my test now?
