I do not know if others are leak testing with the cpu block off the motherboard, but you should. A leak can happen at the joint where the block is held together (this most often happens after you have opened the block for cleaning). This leak can just be a single drop ever 5 minutes but it ends up in the cpu socket (a place you can not see the water accumulating). A leak into the cpu socket is not a good thing. I would suggest leak testing the cpu block away from the motherboard, especialy after you have had the block open.
