Computer keeps crashing, need help.

post #1 of 4

My computer has recent been crashing alot, no clue why but it seems like whenever I'm playing games it runs smooth.
But when I'm idling and/or just watching around on the internet my computer just randomly crashes and reboots.

(Note: I recent traveled for awhile to a lan party, and at arrival is when my computer started to act this weird.)

spec;
MSI p67a-c45
Intel core i5 2500k 3.20GHz
EVGA geforce GTX 780
700 watt power supply.

Thanks in advanced.

we need more information to what you have tried to fix the issue, or which logs or blue screen codes you get when the crash happens.
go to your event log viewer and note the entries timed before the crash.

it's best if you post a screen shot.

get memtest, make sure all your drivers are upto date, as well as your bios.
reset any overclocking and see if that alleviates your issue.
