If you calibrate the monitor, it will look the same on both AMD or Nvidia cards... given differences in default profiles, you would have to separately calibrate the monitor on each GPU.
The monitors will give the same picture, but be limited by their color accuracy and resolution. Also by pixel pitch. None of those have anything to do with the GPU, and won't change regardless of the GPU unless it can't produce 32 bit color... you'd have to get a pretty old GPU for that
