BEST THE MONEY CAN BUY....Budget $ 827 - Page 3

at maximum settings i mean 1920x1080
Do you mean maximum settings as in playing at 1080p on ultra? Also you need to answer other posters questions before a parts list would be done. Do you need an operating system? Do you need a keyboard and mouse? Do you need a monitor?

Just kidding! You will play cod4 at medium ..

If you do not have anything here is a list:

A case(tower)
A CPU
One or two GPU's (graphics card)
RAM at least 8GB for your maxed out games....
DVDRW
HDD
PSU (power supply) (600w to 850)
MoBo

The cheapest i can think that can play all games on ultra(Crysis 3,far cry3,bf3,batman etc..) is at least $1300-1500

Don't forget that pesky $100 copy of windows for a new build.

for that budget given and not planning for overclocking my suggestions are :

CPU : AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor

RAM : Patriot Signature 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

MotherBoard : Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+

HDD : Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB

Case : NZXT Source 210 Elite (White) ATX Mid Tower

Optical Drive : Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

GPU : EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card

Total cost including the mail in rebates and promo deductions is $814.17 ..... i want to add an after market CPU cooler like the Cooler Master 212 eEVO but it will cost all in all $843 and its already out of your range..... you can decide if you want to add that or you can leave it(main thing is your not goin to overclock so its ok to stay on your stock cooler)

this guy is incredibly specific on his price point.

then as vague as humanly possible about specifics like resolution, current specs, what "maxed out" means to him, does he need other peripherals etc.

maybe you should keep saving up instead of just telling people it has to be 827 or less and buy a build you wont be saying " BEST MONEY CAN GET...for 914$" in a year or two.

He is fine, I saw at least three or more decent builds suggested here.

Obviously this is for the tower. Mice, keyboards, cases, fans and monitors could be had for free if need be.
Chances are it is not his first computer as he has been a member here since 2011.

I don't think the term "maxed out" has to be taken literally, I would take this to be running most games at 90% or higher settings.
No matter what you buy, there is always something currently being produced that your rig will not be able to "max".

Those builds suggested to him will be the "max" for $827 and should have pretty satisfactory results.

Solved in under three pages, although I suspect it will carry on for many more.

The thing is, we don't know for sure what he needs/doesn't need.
While the suggested builds so far have been very decent, they've largely been guessing about what the OP needs or doesn't need.

If he still needs a monitor and peripherals, for example, it's a completely different story from if he'd have those, along with a case and/or hard drives.

this exactly.

You cant post a specific budget without telling us exactly what you need, then get upset when someone goes over your budget by 50 cents.rolleyes.gif
