Help me find a better Flashgun

Thread Starter
I want to buy a flashgun for my D300. Mostly I'll be using it on Camera (sometimes off-camera). Features I'm looking are optical slave, TTL, High Speed Sync.
The Flash Ive shortlisted are YN568ex, Nissin Di866
Ive also found out the we can use pocket wizard like accessories to use flashes like nissin Di622, sunpak pz42x to use flash-sync above 1/250. Is that correct? if yes then I will buy 622 instead. what you guys say.

What is you budget??

YN568EX with 622 are really great for the budget. (I brought both for about 260USD)
They are really great when you dont to spend a lot and want to learn about off camera flash.

You can use YN568EX with 622 for HSS, sync speed great than 1/250.

It will more or less work with any flashes with hot shoe and/or PC cord.
Is just you wont have the functionality of HSS or TTL depend on the flash.

ive used multiple non-ttl Yongnuo and they are top notch for the price (like 80 bucks).

i have never used the nissin nor sunpak so i have no opinions on those.
