Watch videos in the browser (format)?

Is there a way to watch videos not with a regular video player (e.g. vlc, DivX, Real...) but instead in the browser or convert them into the format browser video playback uses (for streaming e.g. on YouTube).

The reason is, that I want to watch videos on my second monitor while playing games. I may watch streaming videos bot videos in video players turn black.

Thanks.

No idea? I don't even know, why videos turn black while a game runs in full screen (not in windowed mode).

YouTube etc. works perfectly.

I can play a game while watching a video on my second monitor, but I sometimes need to alt+tab to make the video show at the same time instead of having a blank monitor. My video playback setup is MPC-HC with LAV Filters.

If that setup doesn't work for you, then right click on your game exe or shortcut, Properties, Compatability tab > Tick "Disable visual themes" and "Disable desktop composition". The visual themes and desktop composition turns back on when the game closes.

Hey here's an idea, try Plex

Just download the software and add the folder where all your Movies are. After that you'll be able to stream the movies on your browser using Myplex. Honestly if your looking to watch movies on your browser without having to upload them this is your best option. Plex in my opinion is the best transcoding and streaming software available. Plus since you're not trying to stream to a phone this would be completely free
