Need help wid my opty 165 CCBBE - Page 2

post #11 of 16
kaks, i didn't notice you were running the leetest board of all time (msi neo2). let me get you something that'll help you out a bunch. it'll save me a lot of time of explaining your motherboard to you.

Also i don't know if your corsair is TCCD ram, so be careful which bios you use on it. you should still be able to run 1:1 divider if you slightly loosen your timings. if you have any more questions about this beast, just ask. i've had much experience in overclocking that board.

I dont believe it ive been bottlenecked by my motherboards fsb i can onlly get
310 fsb.
i underclocked my memory 100mhz{ddr200}
drop my ht multi to x2
drop cpu multi to x6
i was increasing my fsb in 5mhz increments and i cant get past 310

i have 310x9=2790
i needed 333x9=3000

Anyone know a way to pust it pass 310fsb by a bios or tweak?

what is your AGP locked at, what SATA ports are you using? also which ram slots are you using?

lock your AGP at 67 MHz, use SATA port 3 or 4 (closest to the CPU) and use teh ram slots thats closest to the CPU and see if that helps you any. also disable CPU spread spectrum. that will definitely mess w/ your overclock. up your northbridge voltage to 1.65v to see if that helps. you just gotta get this board to talk to you right. smack its ass and do a few of these things.

i got my HTT wayyyyyy up there on my neo2...

im running 2.9ghz 100mhz short from my target

The problem im having is with my ram cant pust it any further @those timings
Is there any tweaks that can push another 10mhz

i can run them @ 2-3-3-8 is that ok or is ther a better way?
