Should I overclock more - Page 4

Hey again

Looks like its stable with 1,4vcore, goes up to 1,45 max in occt but it's stable, stable in games aswell and temps are fine (according to them). What kind of températures should i be looking for if i want it to be "safe"? Is it a bit too much regardless of the temps i have?
I'm fine with any lifetime above 2 years really. Hope this question isnt too redudant, i'm sure it's been asked plenty of times already

Yeah when you go high with vcore, even if the temps are still low enough, damage can be done to the CPU over time. I'm sure at 1.4 or there about wont be too drastic.... especially if you are happy with 2 years worth smile.gif
As far as safe temperatures... everyone you ask will tell you a different story. People say you shouldn't go over 90 degrees C etc. With water cooling and that OC I would be happy if its 80 or there abouts on full load (even though mine goes up to 87 in summer).
4.8Gig is very nice mate I wouldn't go any further. Good work thumb.gif

EDIT: as far as the RAM is concerned.... its no big deal reaching the 2400MHz. Up to you but I don't think you will see a lot of improvement.

Nice OC. If you are only getting 90C or so in stability testing using something like Prime95/OCCT then you should be getting a lot less in gaming. Id be Pretty happy with that.
