Hey guys I have two problem.

First one is the power button of my case, It takes 9 seconds to show mobo logo. I think its stupid, 9 seconds mad.gif

Second one is after the mobo logo, getting the windows 8 desktop takes 17 seconds.

So It takes 25 seconds to open the computer.

What is the problem? How can I solve it?

There are a few things that you need to check. In your BIOS you need to be sure your SATA mode is AHCI instead of IDE\Native IDE. Before you do that there has to be a registry change made before Windows will use the drive in the new setting.

There are some other things you should do that could speed up your start time as well. You check them in this guide.

I am not familiar with ASUS motherboards so there could be something about it that I don't know about. Hope this helps.
