AMD fanboys are by far the worst group of people out there, I have no problem running an AMD system as long as it performs well but I'm not going to be a fanboy and strictly buy AMD even if it performs worse. You guys really let loose on the damage control for this AMD blunder. Let's just hope Steamroller will give Haswell i7s a decent run for their money.
Hard to believe. My buddy has the FX8320 stock paired with a 7970, single 1080p monitor and I can't tell the difference in gameplay (read FPS) from my Intel rig (oc'ed 2500k) with one of the 7970s disabled, we get almost identical FPS in gameplay, but I destroy him in Benchmarks.
What games do you play? and what resolution? maybe if it was SC2 at 1024*768 then yes.
