hopefully, ive tried everything from fooling around in BIOS except for a CMOS reset because im not familiar with the new BIOS. Ive even added a fan onto the rad for a push pull air flow and nothing much has changed. I'm starting to think I may have bought a faulty H60? The H60 says it supports 1155 sockets and 2011. My socket is 1150 (Asus Z87). Ive read around on other forums and people have said that the H60 fit on their 1150 even though it doesnt specify.

Yes I think that is the issue , I heard lot of guys have same issue just search here in our ocn forums u will find similar problem due to have so much thermal paste or having old thermal paste mixed with new etc... so i advice cleaning the h60 block with Alcohol and the cpu also then apply on the cpu some new thermal, also The 1150 Socket have same mounting as the 1155 so don't worry about that

So I cleaned the thermal paste off of both the cpu and the pump surface and put new thermal paste on. Ran the test again got the same high readings. Got frustrated took my computer in to a local comp shop. They ran diagnostics test for me. They said that the corsair H60 is performing the way it should be, they also told me I could have got a faulty 4770K. Opinions? I dont know what to think now. Go out and get another 4770K and empty another three hundred something bucks out of my pocket or screw it and go with another CPU (1150 socket)? any recommendations?
