Help and OG piece together a video editing rig - Page 2

Thread Starter
Thanks everybody. I went to Microcenter to get everything, I have no patience for shipping!

AMD FX6300
Asrock 990FX Extreme3
8GB Vengence
1TB WD Green
eVGA GTX650 1GB
Corsair CX600M
Windows 8 64-bit

Came out to around $600 for everything. Not a bad deal. I can't wait to be able to play games and edit video finally. My old rig was so dead.

It was a tight budget. I had many other psu's in mind. Hell I probably could have gotten away with my Silverstone but I wanted to play it safe. It was $60 so it didn't break the bank

You made a good choice smile.gif Considering your purpose of the system, there would be no need to go for higher quality PSU. Though it might have saved you some bills every now and then, i still think that you made a great setup from your budget and purpose. I hope you will enjoy it.

Thank you. Based on the reviews, I thought this would be a good PSU, especially for the price.

Now I need to find a use for my old rig and see what I can do with it. Just threw it into an old Thermaltake Xaser 1, I bet most of you guys never even seen one of these lol.
