The only thing I'm worried about with the 750 is that the included pump isn't as powerful as as the one in the RX240, and the radiator seems thinner. Would the RX240 provide that much more power in terms of pump and more heat dissipation in terms of radiator to justify the price increase? I also want to make sure I get something that can last me more than one build, so that when I get a new CPU or GPU I can just throw in a new water block instead of also getting a new pump/res.

I dont think you will get better temps with the D5 over the 750 but your buying quality, thats quieter, stronger, and will most likely last longer. Ive read quite a few threads where people complain about the noise of the 750. Everyone has different standards for whats loud so that can be taken with a grain of salt. I think the important thing is to do your own research of the differences of the pump and make the choice that makes you happy. If you look at this LINK you can get an idea of how thinner rads compare to thicker ones. Thinner and thicker rads perform close to the same at low fan speeds but when you start spinning your fans faster thats when thicker rads start to pull away from thinner.
