Don't get me wrong... I've been fighting the urge to get get a 780 since the day they came out
more of a personal reply for you.
I now have in my Surround rig SLI GTX 770's but that's not the point.
I started with SLI GTX 560 Ti-448's TF3 models clocked between GTX 570 and GTX 580 performance.
probably the same as yours now.
I sold them and along with some other GPU's and grabbed a GTX 770 and a GTX 780.
the GTX 780 went temporarily into my Surround rig replacing the SLI 448's and one phrase sums it up, 'performance and visual increase'..
the 3GB's of VRAM compared to 1.2GB is amazing as you know SLI doesn't double accessible VRAM.
also think of it like this as well, the GTX 570 goes back and forth in benches with the GTX 660
GTX 780 is like those cards in SLI and less power consumption than your SLI 570's..
I now have the GTX 780 running my 1080p rig and I have all settings on all games maxed or extra high...
Believe me it's worth it.
