My thoughts \ mini review on the Zowie FK

Thread Starter
Sensor : 10\10. Nothing more to say.

Design : 10\10. For my fingertip grip , it fits me perfectly but I can see why people with palm grip would prefer DA or EVO.

Build Quality : 10\10. Holy ****. It feel so solid , nothing feels cheap and loose. very good build quality overall.

Surface : 9\10. It's not smooth as my previous Sensei RAW rubberized , but it's more grippy , it gets dirty pretty fast like any other rubberized surface but if you clean it ones a day it should be fine.

Right \ Left mouse buttons : 9\10. The microswitches in the FK are really good and gives you great feedback , I actually really enjoy pressing them in FPS games. The only problem I have to with is the noise , while you play you don't really pay attention to their sound but while you're browsing the internet the noise can be a little too loud and annoying.

Side mouse buttons: 10\10. They are perfectly placed , not too high not too low , a bit small for my taste.

Scroll wheel : 7\10. The only thing which is not great about the FK , don't get me wrong , the scroll wheel is decent , it doesn't feel cheep and the click is good , the only problem is the up and down scroll , it doesn't feel flawless , it could be done better.

DPI Switch : 7\10. You have only 3 DPI settings 450, 1150, and 2300. I'm lucky I'm already used to 450 so it's not problem for me but if you're not that could be an issue , the DPI button is located on the bottom of the mouse which is not ideal place , I hope Zowie will change that in their next mouse.

Teflon feet : 8\10. I attached my additional teflon feet which came with the mouse and now it's smoother.

Cable : 11\10. It's like wireless but with wire ,very flexible. i love it.

Overall : 9.5\10. It's the first mouse really like. and trust me , I had many.

Pretty much my feelings as well, I'd even give more points because the mousefeet and dpi switch are a non issue for me.

Good review! But I don't know what a zowie FK is. If you add pics and links it'll be rep-worthy.

I'm 1.84m tall and my hand is 20 cm from the base to the middle finger tip. FK fits me well. It could be a tad bit wider, but as my hands are already bigger than average I guess Zowie went with the size fitting the average hand. I like the grip on the FK more than that on the G400, Savu, G100s, Diamondback and Kana. Only the Deathadder was more comfortable, but I didn't play with that in a long time so my memory might betray me even there.

To each his own I guess.
