So in short... I over clocked my nvidea gtx 560 ti... But am wondering if I can Or need to raise the voltege...and how much? Please comment and let me know how i am doing on my first overclock :)I have my gpu fan on max.... 85%.... I read it should be on auto, but some recomend max... any differnce?

With out overclock i got these scores on haven benchmark...stock clock was 732 memory was 1900....

31 FPS
781 score
min fps 13.6
Max fps 64.7

I
then over clocked my settings on msi to 850 clock memory 2052 and it bench marks as follows.

35.1 fps
884 score
min 8.4
max 74.7

T
here was no atttifact or anything strange while bench marking it accualy ran very smooth

I then played some left for dead 2 and moved to BF3, I was very impressed with the improved game play in both. Much smoother and WAY more playable on ultra and amazing on high now.

On bf3 my FPS imporved as followes

STOCK
ULTRA 35
High 49
Med 69
low 85

Overclocked
Ultra 54
hight 65
med 95
low 103

Please leave comments smile.gif And let me know if there are anymore stability tests i can do...Thank you for your input and I would love to see others benchmarks setting and fps on the 560 ti

If its stable then you don't need to add voltage. I wouldn't change the settings if you aren't sure how at risk of damaging your card.

I got a error after playing BF3 for awhile saying

directx runtime error

"get device removed" Something about it hung... and commands not being right...

Then said somthing about my 560 ti. Only the game crashed, not the computer.

I cant read it because it hides behind bf3 screen and bf3 frezzes so i just get a quick glimps

Could this be linked to a unstable overclock? The benchmarks when fine...
