"Girlfriendly" gaming rig - Page 10

Silent GPU? MSI gtx 760 gaming, trust me you will not be disappointed and this is coming from someone who owned an asus 670 direct cu 2. The msi is more quiet under load. The fan in fact barely spins up from 1000rpm idle to 1150-1200rpm while gaming.

I do not think I am going to get another MSI gpu in a while... Guess it will be a card with the windforce x3 or directcuii cooler.

glad it worked out for ya. Upgrade the card to something quieter you'll be fine.

Really let your bias go this time and reward MSI for having the best 760 on the market. I do not like MSI at all but if you check the 760 reviews you see it is the coolest and most quiet 760. Really believe me, the card is more quiet than the windforce and asus. Just check some reviews. The asus cooler on the 760 is abysmal. The windforce is quite good but the MSI is just quieter. I have it and I am very impressed like I said more quiet than the asus 670 direct cu 2 that I had before.
