disabling HT on the i7 will make it almost the same as the i5 but it will still have 2MB more L3 cache..

Oh right. I hadn't noticed they aren't both on same. That means whatever you do, even on HT-off, i7 will beat it due to higher cache.

That makes the i7 less of a price burden. thumb.gif
