Is the the Tablet or Android?

Thread Starter
Hey everyone, I recently picked up a Nook HD+ and put full android on it, I know its a cheaper tablet, but I figured it would be good enough for what I needed, basic web browsing, netflix, and reading. But the problem is I can never get netflix to work. The app opens fine, but when I try to watch a video it constantly buffers, then is followed by a pop up saying that It cant connect to Netflix and to try again later.

Is this a hardware issue?

I really don't see much of a point in it if It can't even play netflix, and would rather sell it cheap on CL and get something else thats more functional.

yeah I'd say this was a compatibility issue with the tablet.

Which Android do you have on it? Is it the same as what came with the tablet or something newer? For example, if the tablet came with Gingerbread and you put on Jelly Bean 4.2, then there's a good chance Netflix and its newest player won't work properly.

well, the nook has its own OS rom, which I removed and installed Cyanogen mod 4.2(.1?)

I'm not familiar with Android at all, always been an iOS guy, but I didn't want to shell out $500 for an ipad and ended up going with the nook since i knew i would be using it as a beater tab.

Have you looked to see if anyone else has the same issue with CM on your tablet?

It should be able to play fine. I don't see how it could be a hardware issue really though.

Ya I would probably say this was a compatibility problem with your tablet.
