Somethings not making sense

OK this may be about one of the dumber questions you've heard but where is my liquid in my tank going? I installed it into my computer in september with a full tank of antifreeze/water. The tank is completly empty now execpt for the tubes. Now i know theres evaportation and everything but you would think there'd just be evaporation in the tank and just that little bit, and of course when to much evaporates it'd start to "rain." So my question is where is this fluid going? Also how should i refill the tank. What kind of anti freeze should I use without ordering some because its the holidays and need my computer, and cant wait 2 weeks to recieve 50cm of antifreeze.

Have you checked for leaks? Even tiny tiny little ones. Condensation in the tank only occurs if the tank surface temp is less than the water temp. You might as well flush your system and refill it with fresh distilled water. Go to any automotive shop and pick a small bottle of Zerex.

How were you running your system for this long and not notice the air bubbles or empty res? Are you sure you haven't sprung a leak?

Naw... just drain it. Rinse it with a little vineager + distilled water. Refill with Zerex + distilled water.

Turning your PC on/off should not really affect evaporation. Is your antifreeze UV reactive? If so, you may want to search the case for any UV puddles which might not be noticable in normal light. If you do find one, then you have a tiny leak somewhere. What are your watercooling components? Are you sure the tes cap is on tightly? Water shouldn't evaporate that fast out of your loop. SOMETHING must be letting water out... loose cap or a leak.

I'm thinking you're right.

Yea, you either have a leak or your res is not sealing right. I can go 6 months on my system before it goes down even 1/2 a cup.

My guess is that it's not airtight. Tighten the cap/get a cap that seals better.

Or get a suitable O-ring to make a tighter seal.
