havent played GT with a controller in years.

I'm forced to play it with a controller because I lost the power supply for my G27 -_-

There is a lot of steer assist with a controller. I find it very difficult to get understeer from a car now whereas if I turned the wheel to full lock either direction then I got tons of understeer in every car including the X2010 and X2011.

While some of these additions are definitely welcome improvements, it seems more of an expansion

If you have a PS3 and GT5 (for comparison reasons), then download GT Academy 2013 (free) and compare the difference. While seeming like an expansion, it actually feels like a completely new game.

The only aspect of a proper racing simulation game I care about is the feel of driving. Get everything to be as close to real life as possible, I honestly couldn't care less if it looked like a game from 2005.

The demo feels really good, you actually feel like you're driving a car! Cant wait to see the finished product.
