Asking for aesthetic help/guidance

Thread Starter
I'm moving into a new apartment in about one week. The apartment has a "solarium," essentially an open sunroom area. One wall of it is lined with windows (18'3''), and the other primary wall is 9'6''. I want a lot of desk space and was initially considering an L desk setup. However, it's likely that two people will want to sit and game at the desk at the same time, making the L-shape inconvenient (because the chair backs will be close to one another.

Instead, I am considering placing both a 60x28'' desk and a 48x28'' desk side-by-side to give a long continuous span of desk against the wall (not with the windows). The only problem with this is that I currently use a set of AudioEngine A5's which are mounted on stands. Using this setup will take up 108'' of the 114'' of available space against the wall. Thus, I would have to place the speakers placed out fromt he edge of the desk or find some new mounting solution on top of the desk (or simply place them on the desk).

I would really appreciate any comments on these design possibilities or any other design possibilities that you might have in mind.

Some of my requirements for the area:

Capable of housing at least three 24'' monitors and two gamers, two full size keyboards, hopefully a laptop (even if its the closed laptop powering a display), and with some nice wiggle room.

I'm wary of impeding a lot of the natural light, which I like a lot of. At the same time, I am wary of the effects of natural light on viewing monitors depending on placement.

I've attached the relevant part of the floorplan below.

What direction are the windows facing? It seems like glare would be an issue, both if it made it hard to see the screens, and if it was in your eyes.

Maybe I should know this, but what are the white lines on the "bottom" wall? Other than the door.

I use an L shaped desk and I really like it, but I'm not sure how it would do with two people.
