Ok guys im having a hard time picking out a gaming keyboard and mouse. As of right now im looking at a corsair k95 or thermaltake meka g1 white. As for a mouse the thermaltake level 10 white mouse seems pretty cool. I want my setup to look clean. I have a thermaltake level 10 snow edition case that sits next to me when i play.....any ideas??????

Hey dude!

Some questions first:
Do you use your mouse with a claw grip or palm grip?
Do you know which cherry switches you prefer (red, black, brown, blue)?
Do you need extra macro keys on the mouse and/or keyboard?
Do you need a number pad on the keyboard?
Do you have a budget?

Cheers

For my mouse i use a palm grip
As for keys probably red or black.
Honesty i dont feel like i would use the macro keys i play fps alot and league of leagues. So i would probably like them on the keyboard so they dont get in my way on the mouse. I dont need a number but it would be nice. I really enjoy backlighting as well. Around 200

Hmmm.. currently, for palm grip, I can suggest a Mionix 8200 or the Roccat Kone XTD. Both have good reviews from users. From personal experience, I bought the Mionix 8200, and although it was comfortable, there were 2 things that made me exchange it:
1) It was too light for my liking and doesn't have adjustable weights - I prefer heavier mice.
2) There is side molding for your small finger and pinkie, but the soft texture of the mouse and the molding makes it hard to grip and lift the mouse if you need to reposition.

For those two reasons I returned the mouse and got the Roccat Kone XTD, and I'm very happy with it. It's a bit larger, with a higher hump, making it just as comfortable. I don't care for high DPI, since I never set my mice more than 2000dpi, so that was never a calling point for me. Software that comes with either mice is OK, I guess. Finally, from an aesthetics standpoint, I prefer the way the Roccat is lit. Either one will set you back $90ish. In the past I've gone through logitech MX518, G5, G500, and Corsair M60. The last three are still alive.

For the keyboard, since this is the keyboard section, I would suggest red over black. That being said, the rest is really down to small differences. Have a look at the OCN Recommendations:

What I can add is that I prefer cherry brown myself, and currently use a Leopold tenkeyless at home, and a WASD with custom colours at work (neither of which have backlighting). I've previously sold my Razer with blues, and also bought and sold a CM Quickfire TK because the way the arrows and the keypad were integrated drove me nuts when trying to switch between them. Backlighting was a nice feature, but I found it more distracting than anything and would limit it to the WASD keys.

Cheers
