Actually I don't plan on over clocking anything, I never have. I live in AZ, there's enough heat here as it is lol.

I was thinking of this card 4 my self.
has more Vram so your skyrim with mods is not an issue. I also own a 6950 with unlocked shaders and its OC, and this card will still do much better than mine lol. Just more options 4 u take a look

770 gigabyte windfore 4gb vram has very high stock clock so u dont even need to oc to have it blow your 6950 out of the water imo

good choice. what the 7950 can max out, that can, too. what one can't max . . . the other can't either.

4GB model GTX 770's are useless and marketing scams, because the bandwidth limitations that are implemented for the GTX 770s prevent full utilization of 4GB memory.

If you want more memory, go with a GTX 780.

Well I ended up getting a 7970. I'm surprised at how much faster everything is from 2d desktop to 3d gaming. I expected games to run smoother and they are but I didn't expect windows itself to be snappier. Very interesting for sure.

Skyrim loads quite a bit faster now and the load times between caves or buildings/houses to the outdoors is quite a bit faster now too.
