Take a good reading at this guide for your motherboard's bios:

And here's an owner's thread for your mobo http://www.overclock.net/t/1246595/official-asus-sabertooth-z77-owners-thread-club

This is how I learned along with just taking my laptop and googling every abbreviation that I didn't understand. If you don't have a second comp then write them down and go from there.gl:thumb: and im sure if you can't find anything on a particular setting someone on here can help.

You mean... you want to learn how to use the BIOS/UEFI and what the terms mean?
Try this: http://www.techarp.com/freebog.aspx

This is a far cry from understanding the BIOS/UEFI. (Like saying "Playing a game" is the same as "Writing a game"). smile.gif
Once again...

ha! True but just understanding what each setting does and how best to optimise my bios would be cool for me. That terms list is good but as im reading what each term means more and more questions start going though my mind! Just ordered a book so that should help rolleyes.gif
