Not sure how much of an FF fan you are, but FFXIV A Realm Reborn should be hitting open beta in a couple weeks. Been in the beta myself for a couple months now and it's a lot of fun, worth a try at least. Can't say much about GW2. I bought it and have barely played it, can't put a finger on why it hasn't held my interest though.

I've been playing Tera for a few months and it is pretty good for a F2P. Great graphics, raid and dungeons are ok -- not very hardcore but it still does require some coordination. Levelling is very easy too, not much grind required. Worth checking out imo. I will try FFXIV next, I hear a lot of good stuff from it too.

My GF and I play NeverWinter. Pretty good. Decent quests. Very easy to get into. We played SWTOR (I love Star Wars, but this got boring fast) and GW (Meh.)

I watched a few YouTube videos. I don't expect the most graphically stunning out of an mmo, but overall it just felt bland. Ill give it another look.

Honestly, you can't guage graphic quality with compressed video on YouTube... LOL.

GW2 doesn't seem to be slowing down. they release new stuff all the time, and unlike WoW, you don't pay extra for it.
one nice feature about GW2 is there's none of that "get a quest, try to find the quest area after walking all over the place, then walk all the way back to turn in the quest"
you simply go to the areas on the map, do your thing, and bam quest done, money and xp hit your inbox and click accept..
also if i want to send someone stuff, they don't need to find a mailbox, so mid game someone can say "i need this" i send it, bam done.

the best feature, its not a money pit like WoW, you pay for the game and thats it. no bleeding your pockets dry like WoW does.

its a fun game, i play it w/e i have nothing else to do and since i'm not being bled dry of money i don't feel like i'm obligated to play it when i don't want to.
this helps when it comes to getting burnt out on a game.

Actually they are going to be speeding the content up from every 3 weeks to every 2.

I give my vote for EVE Online as well. I've played it for over 5 years steady. It is much more fun when you have atleast one other person to play it with, for fleets and such. The training mecahnism can seem a bit slow, but it is in real time. A certain skill that says it takes 5 days to complete, will actually take 5 days. The content is ever expanding, every 6 months a new expansion is released. The graphics are, in my opinion, unparralled right now to other games in its genre, for DirectX9. I have seen some DirectX11 games that don't look as pretty as EVE does with DX9. However, it does get quite slow and boring if you play by yourself for long periods of time. And there is a steep learning curve. I'm sure the other EVE pilots as well as myself would be more than happy to get on and walk you through your "EVE-ducation"

I also play Hawken, which is basically just a mech battle MMO. It is still in open beta currently, but has been pretty fun. Mostly random team based battles, so getting together with your wife in every fight may not be possible everytime. There is also no solo play as far as I can tell.

TERA and RIFT are also both pretty good ones, the grinding can get a bit redundant, but really, what MMO doesnt have that? I played bothin the Closed and Open beta stages, and enjoyed it even back then. Can be very casual if you choose it to be. In alot of MMO's what turns me off is the forced team play. Some times I just want to play solo for awhile. I dont want to be forced to go join a team of people I dont know in order to finish a quest.

I've played Battle of Immortals and War of Immortals for quite awhile. They can get very redundant in terms of "go kill 25 of these and return to me" quests. But the dungeons and boss battles are quite fun at times. Especially if you have apartner to run with. They are essentially the exact same games, War of Immortals is supposed to be the Prequel of sorts to Battle of Immortals. Lots of zodiac referrences, lots of new equipment and armor upgradability, but it does require lots and lots of mob killing to collect items to do it. Still fun though, for me anyway.

And som of the more kiddie games, like Fiesta, florensia, Ether Saga and others. I got bored with them pretty quickly.
