EVGA P67 SLI Micro BIOS jumbled

System crashed last night, and I found out the hard way that minidumps were disabled frown.gif But, when I started it back up I got into the BIOS and...

So, I'm not sure what is causing this at this point. The only thing I can think of is my video card. I'm going to test on board graphics this evening, and leave it on to see if I get a minidump. As you can see from the video, I have tried resetting to defaults, which didn't do much. I doubt its the power supply either, but it could be. I know people that have had similar issues have swapped that out to no avail. Lastly, I'll try the card in a different system. If I get a minidump I'll analyze it as well.

Any ideas outside of that? Anyone ever dealt with this before?

So, after further testing, I tried a different graphics card and the distortion went away. Chances are, the crashes have something to do with it too, although no blue screens ever came across. I'm going to try undervolting the card and reapplying thermal paste, hopefully it isn't completely gone.

This is really strange...

I was running the card with DVI and HDMI connections, and a mirrored display for game capture. I took the card out, cleaned it up, applied paste, reinstalled the card, and only used the DVI port. The card did not display any distortion in the BIOS, and the card was stable in Windows.

However, when I hooked up the HDMI cable, the distortion was once again present, and the card was unstable in Windows. Shut down, disconnected HDMI, booted to BIOS, no distortion. Very peculiar. Guess my problem's solved now, and I have a card 15 degrees cooler to boot!
