http://techreport.com/review/24539/amd-radeon-hd-7790-graphics-card-reviewed/12

"Based on these numbers, I'd expect the 7790 to perform even better compared to a lower-clocked, like-priced version of the GeForce GTX 650 Ti. We'll have to run the numbers to be sure, but this is hardly an outlandish extrapolation to make."

http://www.hardocp.com/article/2013/03/22/asus_radeon_hd_7790_directcu_ii_oc_video_card_review/11

"As you can see, on average, you are going to see in the 30% range for performance improvement with the Radeon HD 7790 versus the Radeon HD 7770. Depending on the game, you can see up to 20% improvement over the GeForce GTX 650 Ti. It really depends on the game though, with the newer games the Radeon HD 7790 only matches the GTX 650 Ti. Older games, it seems to gain more in."

When both are overclocked the Gtx 650Ti pulls over the Radeon 7790 but then again it depends on which game it is. Both are head to head. If you don't plan on using SLI then take whichever is cheaper.

the above reviews clearly indicate HD 7790 as the faster card. both these cards can overclock to 1.2 ghz.

"The Radeon HD 7790 is in between the ordinary GTX 650 Ti and the GTX 650 Ti Boost in sheer speed rather than competes with the latter. "

also there is no SLI support with GTX 650 Ti while HD 7790 supports CF.

"Moving on, along with losing GPU boost capabilities the GTX 650 family also gives up SLI capabilities, so unlike the GTX 550 Ti you won’t find a SLI bridge connector here. "

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_650_Ti_Direct_Cu_II/33.html

"No Support for SLI" in cons.

So Im lost. My knowledge of GPU's is low and I see all kinds of comment about SLI and overclocking etc.
Now I do not plan on overclocking. All I want is a good price/performance card that can run games like BF3 , BFBC2 etc.

I saw some comments about the 7790 being better than the 650 TI? So instead of the 7770 I had to choose the 650 TI and now the 7790 is the best choice?
What is it? :s

Could you increase it by 9$? It would be extremely worth it to get this card. Trust me on this.
