Which motherboard do you currently own?

The Gigabyte that you posted earlier, after updating BIOS, will accept FX 6300 CPU. But OCing is not advised as it only supports a max TDP of 95W.

Not that your CPU is good enough but at said resolution your CPU is doing most of the work. Crank up the resolution a bit (if possible) to shift some of the load on the graphics card.

I can do that but my native resolution is 1366x768. My present board is the MSI 760GM P33.

Your current board cannot and will not support the FX architecture.

If you plan on upgrading your CPU but lack funds to buy a new motherboard, try to find a Phenom II 955 BE quad core or a hex core CPU.

This is Crysis 2 at 1366x768, DX11 mode enabled and even high resolution textures enabled and all other settings on ULTRA. Average FPS is 37-45.

CPU USAGE-100% on both cores
GPU USAGE-59%
GPU MEMORY USAGE-88.7%

Are my frames suffering due to my CPU?
If I get the FX6300 would it pull up my GPU usage to 90%? If it would by how much would my fps increase? In this pic with my GPU usage at 59% my fps was 41.

Got the FX 6300 along with the GA 78LMT USB3 Rev 5.0. Now look at the difference. Tried to get the same angle for the screenshot. My fps was at 68 here.
