Triple monitor setup. Will it work? - Page 3

You have to use an active one. It would say if it was active, that's a major detail.

Ideally you would want a monitor with a Displayport input. But it would probably be cheaper to go with the adapter. You won't be losing quality or anything.

Okay.. Well im considering it because after setting up the first one, I can see the quality drop compared to my primary..
Well I payed 1000 DKK and thats like 200$ im guessing..

But god - the trouble with shipping .... I think Im gonna stick with these 2 new mediocre monitors..
Its still "just" my secondaries.. hmm

I know its danish so im just gonna google translate a bit:

This display port adapter can convert a DisplayPort signal to HDMI signal. A smart way to get from eg. a laptop over a flat screen TV.


Does it sould like an active adapter?
