Jaggies galore. This trailer looked amazing for a current-gen game. Yes, I saw the downside of the ageing consoles, but it still looks particularly good.
Do not get me wrong, I was - and perhaps still am - a PC gamer for many, many years. Even though I own most consoles, I don't play on them as much as I'd like to justify their purchase. However, very recently I finally purchased my new home cinema set. And it has been a blast playing console games again. Unfortunately I can not see 3D content, so audio is rather important to me, and I have been reliving games as a completely new experience with my new audio system. To be blunt, I care less and less about graphics and more about having fun and playing a nice game. I enjoyed playing Red Dead Redemption and I am currently playing Starhawk and even some old PSone classics.
I am not sure if we are to see a PC version, I do think, however, that Rockstar is currently developing one, but is keeping its lip tightly closed as they are probably not sure how well it will run on PC's.
And they, most likely, do not want to make the same mistake as GTA IV. So unless they can optimise the game to run along with PC hardware better, I think we're hard pressed to see a final PC release.
I mean, I am still waiting to play RDR in HD. But we'll likely never see that happen either. So not releasing GTA V for the same reasons for not releasing RDR does not seem far off.
Anyway, not matter how many people as disappointed in the graphic fidelity of GTA V, I am every bit impressed as I have been with GTA: SA, and I am stoked to get this game in my hands come september.
We got to see quite a lot of gameplay and the game seems to be huge, with a diverse map that will leave plenty of room to explore. Can't wait.
