Project: Custom Water/Hide teh wires! - Page 4

Damn that sucks man. Hopefully you can resolve it to get your awesome case up and running. Keep it up!

Hmm...were you sure to screw the mobo standoffs in and out a few times to clear the paint off the threads so the mobo would be properly grounded?

Would the standoffs be the problem, I did cut one of them off... the middle one right under the ram, I didn't have a problem with it not working before I cut the rest of my case up before though... this is strange.

Cant have over 38 pictures or something so it will be continued here.

U channel and super glue time

Installed the silver fans/fan grills/ and U channel.

Hehehehe whoops holes a little off... oh well won't be seen anyway.

Peeled the tape off! Lookin good.

Installed the fan grill/filter for the top 120 mm fan, it will be blowing cool air into the case.

Got my two blocks!!!!!!! YAY!

Remaining part of the old watercooling system. If anybody wants to buy it lemme know otherwise it will sit in the closet.

Mounted the Pump.

Started tubein it up! They were very tight turns so I put one small blue ziptie to keep them from making an oval shape.

Well I put the T connection in, but this was the first place I tried and I didn't like it to much.

Two zipties will hold the heatercore on the walll.

Taped the 1/2 nozzles before installing them.

Filling and bleeding!

Ziptied all of the tubes to the nozzles so there will be no leaks!

Installed the HD cage which I had to remove to get the PSU in, just another thing that made this build take hours extra.

Back of the HD Cage

CD Drives installed

Most of it

Had to take the HD cage out to put the PSU in.. headaches... !

HD Cage back in with 2 of the HDs installed.

Connecting some of the stuff. IDE for CD and PSU cables.

Installed the back 80mm fans U Channel and grills.

Relocated the T and then repainted right under the the HD cage where I scratched the case trying to get the stupid thing in there.

Test fit with the plexiglass installed on the side window. Looks like I am going to have to try to get that black paint off by the holes. for some reason it bled right through the masking tape.

What it looks like right now before I take out the Mobo to RMA it.

The 250GB HD I bought on sale at BB cheap.

The black paint I use for touch ups.

Alright, fully updated with comments and everything. This has been quite a project and a costly one. I have written down most of the costs and will post them when I am finished.

Thanks NOS,
The HD cage was a squeeze between the 120mm fan on the top and the metal bar that goes across.

the tubing that looped around I think just kind of looked better going around the fans because it helped hide some wires. I did take it off of there since I moved the T to right after the pump.

Yea, its a tight fit, but its a huge case and now I think it looks better with all of that stuff in there don't you? Its also easier to hide the wires, especially behind the HD cage/psu/cd rack, thats where they will all go. I can't wait till I finish it is going to be my dream come true (hahaha until I build a 3 head custom phase change, (yea right)).

Thanks guys!
