i just upgraded from a 1150/1575 oc'd 7950 to 760 SLI (evga acx superclocked) on 1080p ill be good for a while.
should be alright for a while as long as you stick to 1080p
anything higher and maybe id go with 7950/7970 or 770/780 range..as long as the 770/80's have more than 2gb of vram.
The nice thing about the ati cards atm besides the fact that they oc like beasts is that they come standard (7950/7970) with 3gb vram and 384bit bus.
Most of the nvida cards run 2gb/256bit interfaces..and charge a lot more for another gig of ram on the same 256bit interface.
So for multimonitor solutions and higher rez like 1440p that extra gig of ram and memory interface goes a long way.
but the 760 is a little faster at stock than my oc'd 7950 and $50 cheaper, its the better buy at the moment for sure. for 1080p.Edited by discoprince - 7/9/13 at 11:54am
