EK DDC X-Res Question

Thread Starter
Hi there,

I'm using the EK DDC CSQ X-RES 140 and see that the instructions say I am REQUIRED to use the included G1/4 extender in the inlet port. Is this actually the case? I have all white fittings and would prefer to keep it that way. If my fitting seems to go in securely, can I roll with that? Alternatively, is it possible to obtain a black or white extender of the necessary type? This is really chapping my hide...

I use it on my D5 X-res cause it says so, i'm sure if it didn't leak on you it would be fine. Me personally i'm not taking the chance. You could paint the extender too if you really want it black
