Im a complete newbie with itunes and have an ipod for the first time. Normally and android, pc person, can anyone help with the following...

1. If buying music from itunes what format is it? I normally buy from amazon mp3 simply because of the format.

2. Itunes has importes my music about 40gb worth and a few few ablums seem to be broken up, possibly where i used to rename various artists to the actual artist is there anyway to fix this?

3. Is there any way to organise your music in itunes?

4. Any cool things i should get with an ipod touch?

Many thanks

As far as the music buying I would stick with amazon mp3's personally. iTunes has a nasty little feature of forcing you to use itunes and apple devices to access things you have purchased. At least as I've found. Have bought 2 songs from itunes and both of them I can't find anywhere on my computer in any format. Have only been able to play them through itunes & on my iphone.

If you really want to "own" your media, or a copy of it... don't buy anything from the itunes store except apps and such (only cause those will only work on apple devices in the first place). If you plan on going apple for all time then itunes is great place to buy.

Bout the only good thing about this so called feature is piracy becomes much more difficult. Other than that though it's nothing more than taking away your rights as far as I'm concerned.
