2 780's in SLI + 580 Setup...Yay or Nay?

I recently decided to upgrade from my 580 to a 780. I currently have the 780 and 580 installed on an Asrock Extreme6 (i7 4770k CPU). Trying to future proof my rig, I ordered another 780 thanks to a recent job promotion. Here's my question:

Would I see a performance increase if I put the 780's in SLI and added the 580 on the third PCIe lane, using that card for PhysX? I'm not even sure this configuration is possible on my motherboard, since I can't find ANYTHING on SLI + one mismatched GPU. Any help would be highly appreciated.

As long as your motherboard allows 3 PCI-E lanes to be used at once (say in 8x 8x 4x) you will be fine.

Now that I think about it, sell the 580. VERY few games use physx, and your 780s can take the extra load in stride.

Pocket the cash and upgrade something else.
I can't see your rig as I'm on the mobile site, so invest in an SSD if you don't have one.

If the 580 isn't adding anything substantial to my righ with the 780's installed, then I'll sell it. I'm currently running Samsung 840 Pros (128 GB for OS, 256 for Gaming) since you were wondering.

No you won't really benefit from it. Be better off selling it and spending the cash on watercooling.
