It's not only one of the most famous LGA775 boards there is... It also happens to be the first result you get when you use the magic of search engines.

This thing rocks biggrin.gif love this board.

Sorry, when I googled it, it came up as a 1155 board for some strange reason. Nevermind. smile.gif

What do you guys think of X48 boards? It's hard trying to find a decent board at a good price. I'm actually surprised they sell for so much on ebay after so many years. I would have thought they'd be worth pennies by now. tongue.gif

Just make sure it supports the netburst Pentium D. s775 had two iterations, one for core 2 and one for netburst.

UD3P or R will run it alright but you wont be able to raise the core voltage much over standard with Presler, Cedar Mill, and Prescott.
My UD3P I could only raise the Voltage .2v over what it was supposed to be but with Core 2 processors I can raise the voltage to over 2v .
The best board for Pentium D/4 processors is Asus Commando

Well I wanted to bring it to 4.0GHz to begin with, and anything over that was to be a bonus really. Shame the Commando does not support 1066 DDR2.

Thanks for the informative post BTW.

What I don't understand is, how did people get the Pentium D 805 to well over 4.0GHz even though it was stock @ 2.66GHz with only 533FSB?

By bumping the hell out of the FSB and lowering the memory speed accordingly.

533 -> 1066 gets you 5.2ghz or so.
