CM Storm Rapid Keycap Quality?

Hi all, new mechanical keyboard user here, I've got a CM Storm Rapid with brown switches, and immediately I've noticed that the keycaps have a white dot/burn om the side of the key facing away from me, every keycap has it. Is this normal? Why is it there?

Actually, not every key cap has it, and some keycaps have a little bit of plastic poking off where the white "burn" mark would be? Is this where the keycap was cut from the sprue? Is this just a QC problem?

It's all "cast" from a single mold with the "cutouts" between each key and you can't expect every key to be perfect or you'll have to pay like 30$ for keys alone wink.gif
