I don't think "definitely" is the right word. More like "maybe". I still think 3Gb would be ample.

I have not seen a 4GB GTX 780. Not even the new EVGA Classified 780's, they are stuck at 3GB. I doubt if we will see the 780's offered at anything but 3GB.

I agree with you there, it's basically down to aesthetics. I went with a reference cooler because I liked the feel and the finish, the fan is well balanced and it's quieter and cooler than my old 680 SC
