Angry Joe, Angry fat gamer guy and whoever is going to state that the petition is to bring back the DRM and nothing more.
Basically every tech site around is going to report as though the petition is to bring back the DRM and nothing more,
And once more, gamers will literally choose
to have absolutely no freedom when it comes to digital licensing.
It was already in their policy before it was removed.

Sharing digital licenses from your own library with other people. Not possible on any console, but would have been.
Trading digital licenses from your own library.. Not possible on any console, but would have been.
Gifting digital licenses from your own library to other people (not the same as buying and gifting a license). Not possible on any console, but would have been.
As I already said, the Angry Joes and Fat Francis' of the internet will make it out like all this petition wants is the DRM back, the tech sites who seem to own huge amounts of gamestop shares will make it out like all this petition wants is the DRM back, when all it is actually asking for is compromise
. That's literally the word it uses when asking for these features.
And just as we are seeing, the readers of these tech sites and the viewers of Fat Francis and Angry Joe will literally campaign against
this petition asking for these features which are a good thing for any
gamer and not even the future of gaming, but gaming right now. When this policy was still active, we even had 'rumours' of steam supposedly setting up to allow people to share PC games digitally for the first time. Then it was reversed and that rumor died in a fire.
Its kind of sad watching people literally tell
the industry they don't want any
more freedom regarding the direction of where all
entertainment media is headed, just because...........well there is actually no reason.
Why exactly is literally everyone in this thread upset
that there is a petition asking for a compromise for the digital freedom originally promised instead of the ZERO digital freedom we have right now that is equivalent to basically every
platform that offers digital content?
Is there actually
a reason why you guys are upset that there is a petition asking for that?
Who needs a reason though right? Look at Angry Joe crying! Look at Fat Francis acting on his youtube camera for money. Look at the media begging for your advertising revenue via sensationalism! What other reason do you need to fight against your own freedom for digital media?
LMAO aaaaah I love people.Edited by GrizzleBoy - 7/11/13 at 1:08am
