That reservoir isn't really a pump top reservoir but it works the same. You won't benefit from getting a real pump top reservoir with the MCP-35x because the pump top that comes with it is as good as it gets.

If for some reason you end up deciding to get a different DDC pump just remember that the reservoir you selected will not work with other DDC pumps only the MCP-35x.

ok i want to fit them inside my case which is corsair c 70.I wonder how iam going to fit those(swiftech mcp-35x,reservoir and xspc 240mm slim radiator) inside the case. Radiator will be on the right buttom and i am thinking a set up like this
You think i can find a place for reservoir and pump ?

What radiator are you going with... it looks like a triple rad will fit up top you can put the pump down at the bottom or to simplify things you could go with a bay reservoir. I like the pump and res you picked out but if it is going to be a lot easier to run a bay res up at the top then you can always do that.

i decide to buy xspc rs 240mm radiator and it will lie on the buttom but now thinking about the place where to fit pump and the reservoir and you said pump and bay combo reservoirs make vibration and noise i am kinda confused now redface.gif
also decided to w/c my mainboard`s fusion thermo and going to add 120mm radiator on the left but the mainboard (maximus v formula)has 3\8" ID barb and cannot be changed so what if i do all the loop 1\2" ID - 3\4" OD and only fusion thermo in and out 3\8" ID - 5\8" OD?

They don't make vibration they are vibrating and so are the other pumps. The problem is that they can transfer those vibrations into the chassis which then amplifies the sound.

The MCP-35x is nearly silent at 100% as long as it isn't rattling something that will make noise. So if you get a bay reservoir you need to be prepared to bend things in your chassis or shove pieces of foam or rubber behind the back panel and the motherboard tray or do whatever it takes to stop whatever is rattling from moving.

Because of the vibrations a lot of the bay reservoirs have rubber inserts where you screw them in. It is to dampen the mount so it does not vibrate the panels. Unfortunately I have found several times that it wasn't enough.

So just be prepared.

You also could bolt up the reservoir and have no noise at all... just depends on a combination of the case, reservoir, pump, pump speed, and luck.
